Mauricio Umansky (celebrity real estate agent and founder of The Agency) of Beverly Hills, CA, commissioned me for this 20” x 36” piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for his wife, Kyle Richards (of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Little House on the Prairie). I wrote their names, and the names of their four daughters: Portia, Alexia, Farrah, and Sophia, and surrounded the names with "Love" in all directions, my signature style.
Tyler commissioned me for this 8” x 8” piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for his friend Julie, a lawyer in Gainesville, FL. He likes to give her a gift every time she starts a new case, and this was one of those gifts. He gave me 3 quotes, all relating to the court system, which I wrote in repetition, filling up the whole canvas, and in the center I wrote, “Julie Aleve Fine Esq.”
Tom commissioned me for this 11” x 14” piece of Handwritten Art as a birthday present for his boss, Billy. Billy is the owner of “Slicers Hoagies,” a popular sandwich shop in Naples, FL. Tom gave me a list of the names of all of their signature hoagies, and I wrote them in Red and Black, the company’s colors. That's Billy holding the art. He loved it.
Candice commissioned me for this 12" x 16" piece of Handwritten Art to hang at her business, Candy's Cake Pops, in Boca Raton, FL. I wrote "Cakepops" over and over in the colors that she requested.
Singer/Songwriter Joe Cat of Rhode Island commissioned me for this 12" x 12" piece of Handwritten Art to be used as the album cover for his release, entitled, "Clean Up." I used the colors that he specified and wrote his name repititiously, with the name of the album written one time.
Rita commissioned me for this 12" x 16" piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for her daughter, who has Downs Syndrome. She gave me a quote about Down Syndrome that she found on the Internet, and I used it to fill the whole canvas. She also sent me a picture of how it looks, hanging up in her house in Coconut Creek, FL.
Chad commissioned me for this 10" x 8" piece of Handwritten Art for his company, Active Cannabis, based in Los Angeles, CA. I wrote "Active Cannabis" over and over in green, and incorporated his company's slogan, "A New Path to Health," in the middle of the canvas.
Ismail commissioned me for this 12" x 16" piece of Handwritten Art as a wedding gift for his friends, Katelyn & Tim in Fayetteville, NC. I wrote my signature phrase, "Love is a risk. Do it anyway." over and over, and wrote the their names and their wedding date in the center. Katelyn loved it, as you can see.
Ismail commissioned me for this 12" x 16" piece of Handwritten Art as a wedding gift for his friends, Sydney & Connor in Colorado Springs, CO. I wrote my signature phrase, "Love is a risk. Do it anyway." over and over, until I reached the middle, where I wrote the name of the couple and their wedding date. For the bottom half, I switched it up and wrote another one of my signature phrases, "Love is a drug. Take a hit."
Sarah commissioned me for this 12" x 12" piece of Handwritten Art for her family. I wrote her name, her husband's name, and the names of their three children, over and over, as well as the phrase, "Happily Ever After."
Tracy of Miami, FL commissioned me for this 12” x 12” piece of Handwritten Art with the names of her two sons, "Colton" and "Clover."
Elizabeth commissioned me for this 20” x 16” piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for her husband, Bob, in Miami, FL, for their 3-year Wedding Anniversary. I wrote my signature phrase, “Love is a risk. Do it anyway.” over and over, and in the middle I wrote, “Bob & Elizabeth - November 1st, 2015" to commemorate their wedding date. Bob loved it.
Anabelle commissioned me for this 36” x 12” piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for her son, Jon, a personal trainer who calls his training facility, “Jon’s Jym.” She loved it, and I was happy to snap this picture of her holding it.
I commissioned myself for this 10" x 10" piece of Handwritten Art to give as a gift to Evan Snow, of Fort Lauderdale, FL to thank him for all that he has done for me, and for promoting culture and community through his platform, Choose 954. I wrote "Choose 954" over and over in black, and one time in red, using his brand's Instagram handle.
Diego commissioned me for this 12" x 12" piece of Handwritten Art. He lives in Miami but is originally from Costa Rica, where the motto is "Pura Vida," which translates in English to "pure life" or "simple life." This phrase is more than just a saying for Costa Ricans (Ticos). It is a way of life, and is often used as a way to say "Hello," "Goodbye," "Everythings' Cool," etc. So I wrote one of my signature phrases, "World Peace" over and over, and stuck in a single "Pura Vida."
Carolyn of Coral Gables, FL, commissioned me for this 4” x 4” x 2.75" piece of Handwritten Art featuring the names of her three children: Ryan, Maddox, and Luella, surrounded by "Love" written all over, in my signature style, on the front and all sides of the canvas.
Evelyne commissioned me for this 12" x 12" piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for her husband Eric in Atlanta, GA. I wrote "Evelyn <3's Eric" over and over, and in the center I painted a heart, filled with my signature style of writing "Love" in all different directions.
Brockton commissioned me for this 8" x 8" piece of Handwritten Art as a birthday gift for his girlfriend, Ana, in Miami, FL. He told me that she's a big fan of the rain, and gave me free reign to create whatever using that as the central idea. I wrote "Rain" over and over, and I had fun playing with the faded blue color gradient. I also painted some rain drops on the sides of the canvas. She loved it. They look so happy together.
Matt commissioned me for this 12" x 12" piece of Handwritten Art as a way to welcome his new nephew, Charley, in to the world. He mailed it to his brother and sister-in-law in Los Angeles, CA, and they loved it. I did my signature style of writing "Love" in all directions, and painted a heart and filled it in with "Charley" over and over.
Anabelle commissioned me to create two 12” x 12” pieces of Handwritten Art for her two grandkids, Andrew (AKA A.J.), Emmie.
James commissioned me to create a series of 30 individual 3" x 3" pieces of Handwritten Art for his non-profit organization in Miami, FL called Life is Art. These pieces were added to the gift bags that were given out to the 30 guests of a private Life Is Art fundraiser event in Miami on March 30th, 2017.
My friend and fellow artist, Skott Marsi, commissioned me to create this 48" x 48" piece of Handwritten Art for his friend Hallie as a sympathy gift after her father passed away. He told me about how her father had passed, and left it up to me to decide what I would write. I selected a quote from Emily Dickinson that I thought would help her with grieving, "Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality." I hand delivered it to her, and she was very happy with it.
Daniel of Odd Breed Ales in Pompano Beach, FL commissioned me to create this piece of Handwritten Art featuring the slogan for one of the beers that he brews, which is, "Flavor from Fermentation."
Alicia of Charleston, SC commissioned me for this piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for her daughter, Sarah, for her 21st birthday. She contacted all of Sarah's friends and asked them each to email her a quote about Sarah. Then, Alicia send me all of the quotes, and I wrote them all out, in the colors that she requested, with each quote followed by the initials of the friend that said it.
Rob knew that Sarah was a fan of my art and a repeat collector, so he decided it would be nice to propose to her with my art. He commissioned me for two 12" x 12" pieces of Handwritten Art. One piece said, "Sarah, will you marry me?" The other piece said, "She said yes." And of course... she said "YES." Sarah's daughter, West, loved them too. One of my most meaningful commissions to date.
Michelle of Rhode Island commissioned me for this piece of Handwritten Art as a gift for her daughter, Julia, for her 16th birthday. Inspired by my series of "She" pieces, Michelle contacted all of Julia's friends and asked them each to email her a quote about Julia, formatted as a "She statement." Then, I wrote them all out in the colors that she requested.
Olivia of Mexico City commissioned me for this 10" x 8" piece of Handwritten Art as a Christmas gift for her granddaughter, Paulina. I wrote "Paulina" on top of a background of my signature phrase, "Love is a risk. Do it anyway." It now hang's proudly in Paulina's bedroom.
